Space Savers

If you live in a city, there is a good chance that you rent an apartment.  There is also a good chance that you pay a lot of rent for very little space!  There are, however, some great space saving and organising ideas out there to keep your apartment looking neat and tidy without the clutter and enable you to find your belongings quickly and easily!

You can space save by:

Thinking about how often you use things.  For example, vases are bulky and don’t often fit in cupboards easily.  If you only get flowers on birthdays and anniversaries, why not invest in a foldable vase which folds flat and stores neatly when not in use.

If your living room is littered with remotes that get lost, papers, snacks and pens, then an over arm organiser could be just the thing you need. A space saving remote organiser which frees up your coffee table, leaving a neat looking room and you will never lose the remote again!

If accessories are your thing, but you forever end up losing an earring or forgetting the treasure you have, there are several bedroom organisers to create a neat tidy boudoir for you and your partner as well as allowing you a chance to browse all your accessories!  Look for a tie and scarf organiser you both can share or even a jewellery organiser which slides neatly on your bedroom door, freeing up table top space, keeping all your jewellery together and in a way that you can browse and choose easily to match your outfit.

You can even purchase furniture which doubles as storage!  Look for chairs and ottomans, which are specifically designed to be comfortable, yet have a storage compartment for your papers, magazines, or the kids toys!

With a few inexpensive purchases you can create space in the smallest of apartments and free your home of clutter. A small space is still a home and you can create a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere.
